Chalet altitude ~1,600 m; summit of the ski area 3,330 m (Glacier Mont Fort); 410 km of ski slopes, 95 ski lifts, the largest ski area in Switzerland.

Distance to the ski slopes and ski lifts of Les Masses and Les Collons ~1.5 / ~1.8 km, both are part of the 4 Valleys - Verbier ski area. Skiing to Verbier can be achieved in less then 1 hour. New chairlift at Les Masses - Les Collons with parking at the valley station. Huge 'Centralpark' snow park in Thyon.

Beautiful toboggan run between Thyon and Les Collons. Free outdoor skating rink in Les Collons. 12 km of Nordic trails.

SUMMER:
Garden furniture, a parasol and a Weber barbecue are available at the chalet. Summer guests in Les Collons can expect a wide range of activities. It is part of a large hiking area, and there are several mountain bike routes. You can walk along the

"Suonen" (historic irrigation canals) without major elevation changes. You can also go horseback riding, climbing, paragliding or bowling. Sion, the capital of Valais, is worth a visit for shopping and sightseeing. Other curiosities in the surroundings:

underground lake St-Léonard, dam and lake of the Grande Dixence – at 285 meters the highest dam in the world.
